The Lodge

Katmai Trophy Lodge is a 4,000 square foot log lodge set on the banks of the beautiful Naknek river. Our well-appointed lodge has five bedrooms, all with a private bathroom. Each of the rooms on our main floor is set up with a queen bed and a set of bunk beds, configured for couples with children or three singles. Our two upstairs bedrooms have a queen bed and a single, configured for couples or two singles. Modern furnishings ensure a quality and enjoyable place for you to relax in at the end of your adventure-filled day in the outdoor playground that is our backyard. We have comfortable commons rooms on each floor for all to enjoy.

All meals are included in every package we offer at KAL. In the mornings we serve hot, home cooked breakfasts to warm your insides and prepare you for your day ahead. We take pride in brewing excellent coffee and hot teas. Depending on your days adventure you can return to the lodge or your guide can prep a lunch for you riverside. Our most excellent dinners are served in our dining room, and vary nightly with halibut, fresh salmon, pork chops, steak or chicken taking center stage. No one goes to bed hungry and a glass of wine on the porch watching the sun evade setting will become your favorite nightly activity.

Our river-front property is located at the edge of a vast expanse wilderness called Katmai National Park and borders the Bristol Bay Coastal area. With dozens of rivers, small streams and lakes at your fingertips- the fishing opportunities are endless.
